Lace Closures for Hair Weaves: Features Every Wearer Should Consider

The type of closure you choose for your hair weave or extension can radically alter your appearance. Generally speaking, most hair extensions use either a lace closure or a lace frontal. How these items are used, what they are made of, and how they are put together are the essential factors in how a hair piece looks good on the wearer and matches her specific hairstyle. What are the differences between closures and lace frontals? Closures are used within sewn-in hair extensions and are normally positioned at the top of a weave to blend the styles effectively. Lace frontals, on the other hand, are usually bonded into place, and unlike closures, they can run from temple to temple (thereby covering the client's entire head and scalp). A lace frontal is customarily sealed off with knots to help keep the extensions in place.
